The Associated Student Government has three sub-committees. Non- elected members are encouraged to join. Interested students should contact the chairs of each committee for more information.
The duty of the Finance Committee is to review and make recommendations to the Senate concerning all budget requests and expenditures of funds to be made by the Associated Student Government on or behalf of clubs, organizations or the Associated Student Government. In addition, we will make sure that everyone stated above are following all Government Funded Accounting policies and procedures in a responsible and ethical manner.
Meeting Time: Thursdays, 12:30pm-2:30pm

The Programming Committee shall be responsible for operating and/or sponsoring social activities. They promote all of these activities as well as set dates with cooperation with the student activities office, and apply for necessary funding. This committee meets on a weekly basis and is the main source of planning for all events related to the ASG. Members of this committee tend to be very creative as well as hard working. Other duties include working with third party agencies, collaborating with finance committee, and understanding contract structure.

Public Relations Committee:
Our mission as the Public Relations Committee is to ethically and responsibly inform the UConn Hartford Undergraduate students of events and decisions made by the Associated Student Government. We will release information in a timely and effective manner. We will ensure all information is up to date and accurate.
